Most
people do not realize that members have the
real say in what goes on at CSRS. While the
Board comes up with the ideas on policy,
it is only members who can say yea, or nay
to these ideas. So if you are concerned about
how seniors will be treated in the future,
or want to have a say in how CSRS operates,
then you should take advantage of a membership.
If you've ever wished, 'they'
would do the right thing, then this is your
opportunity to become one of 'those people'
who make the rules.
Benefits of membership include an invitation to the CSRS Annual High Tea at the Calgary Golf and Country Club and other special events, regular updates on CSRS volunteer opportunities, voting privileges at the CSRS Annual General Meeting and a subscription to the CSRS semi-annual newsletter "The Update".
