For nearly 30 years, Calgary Seniors has blended urgent supports when needed, social work when appropriate, and volunteer programs that provide care and connection. Through this client-centered approach we connect the dots to create meaningful and effective change in seniors’ overall well-being and quality of life.
The seniors we serve are as diverse as the types of assistance we provide, but they all have one thing in common – they need the right connections to live their best life. Whether it’s connecting with a social worker, a compassionate volunteer, or another community resource, Calgary Seniors is here to help.

SeniorConnect provides an urgent response for seniors facing an emergency or acute need. Sometimes life throws us curve balls and we don’t always know where to turn. SeniorConnect helps navigate a complex system to find a clear path through crisis.
Outreach provides longer-term support to help seniors navigate life transitions. Sometimes the challenges older adults face require ongoing advocacy and supportive counselling to help them continue living independently in their homes and community. Outreach works with seniors to help meet their goals and not just survive, but thrive.
Seniors Social Supports connects seniors to volunteers who provide one-time urgent
support such as a ride to a medical appointment or longer-term support to meet ongoing needs such as a shopping companion or a friendly check-in. We all need a sense of connection, and Seniors Social Supports helps provide that.
Whether it’s an emergency food hamper, support to keep the heat on, a friendly voice on the other side of the phone, or longer-term social work support, Calgary Seniors and supporters like you help connect the dots for people like Tom to help them live the life they want and deserve.
